The Mindfulness Liverpool team is trained in a number of leading approaches to Mindfulness. We choose to follow the Breathworks approach to teaching because we believe it to be the best there is. Our teachers are experienced, accredited Breathworks trainers who work closely with the organisation itself.

Mindfulness can give you a different way of viewing the world. By practising, you'll discover fairly quickly that you don’t have to be ruled by all of the unhelpful thoughts and feelings your mind can throw up in reaction to stressful experiences. You can distance yourself from them, while deepening your relationship with yourself. You can change the lens that you use to look at the world.

Mindfulness won't remove all of the stressors from your life but it will change your relationship to them by altering your perspective. That can have a huge impact on your quality of life.

The Mindfulness for Stress course isn't just about stress! It's about equipping you with the tools and skills you need to be able to make mindfulness work for you in any and every part of your life.

Course Information

The course takes place over four sessions, spanning eight weeks, leaving a two week space between sessions to allow you to practice and absorb the course materials at home. It includes comprehensive resources including a course handbook and a set of guided mindfulness meditations recorded by Breathworks specifically for this course. There is also one to one email support and guidance from the course teacher throughout the course in-between sessions.

Each session is a full afternoon, with the final session taking place over a full day.

At the end of the course, you'll have a toolbox of meditations, daily practices and ideas for living that will support you on your on-going journey to a happy, healthy relationship with life and all of its ups and downs. You will have had plenty of time to practice everything and to ask all the questions you need to make sure that it's all sunk in.

The course is accessible and easy to follow and everything you need is provided, right down to the tea and coffee! Our city centre venue is warm, comfortable and within easy walking distance of transport links and affordable multi-storey car parking.
